Awards and Accolades
Congratulations to the following University of Arizona employees who have recently received honors in their respective fields.
The International Society of Antioxidant in Nutrition and Health Scientific Committee has awarded Iman Hakim, dean of the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, with Best Short Oral Presentation at the 2012 International Conference on Polyphenols in Paris in June. Hakim’s winning presentation was titled "Modulation of Oxidative Damage by Green and Black Tea: Role of Smoking and Gender."
