APAC Forum With President to Offer New Guests and New Fair
This year's Appointed Professionals Advisory Council forum with the University president will for the first time include about half of the president's cabinet.
The Oct. 4 Annual Meeting of All AP and president's forum will include remarks by President Eugene Sander, who will then answer questions along with other University of Arizona administrators.
Sander said in an interview that the annual forum is important because it shows campus employees that he is interested in them and values the contributions they make to the University.
"If you show up and you're really interested in the people you work with, then I think you become an effective leader," he said. "You become a person that people trust. They believe that you're making decisions based on their best interests, not necessarily on your own best interests."
