Aiding Teen Gang Members is Employee's Passion

When Isaac Villegas-Durgin helps ex-gang members and preteen youth who have criminal records or have been addicted to drugs and alcohol, he sees a mirror of his former self.

"I share the same past as a lot of these kids," said Villegas-Durgin, who was raised in South Tucson."I knew I wanted to work with these youth." 

Villegas-Durgin is a research technician and prevention specialist for the University of Arizona's Southwest Institute for Research on Women's Project Determining Another Path, or Project DAP.  read more »
