Admissions Office Reaches Out to UA Families

The Office of Admissions is rolling out the red carpet for children of University employees – and inviting them to tell their extended family and friends about the UA as well.

Last month, the office sent out two letters targeted toward people who work at the University. One was signed by Kasey Urquidez, dean of admissions and assistant vice president for student affairs, and Wanda Howell, chairwoman of the faculty and University Distinguished Professor of Nutritional Sciences. The other was signed by Urquidez and Ronald Wysocki, chairman of the Appointed Professionals Advisory Council and assistant staff scientist at the chemical synthesis facility in the College of Science, and Angie Gomez, president of the Staff Advisory Council and grants administrator for engineering proposal services in the College of Engineering.
