American Southwest's oldest arboretum and botanical garden. Located near Superior, Arizona.
- Kitt Peak Observatory
Home of research facilities for two divisions of the National Optical Astronomy Observatories (NOAO): Kitt Peak National Observatory and the National Solar Observatory.
- Patterson Observatory
Located on the UA South campus in Sierra Vista, the observatory is used for public viewing of celestial objects and as a scientific resource for K - Graduate students.
