UA supports undergraduate research - students in all departments may participate in faculty projects or conduct their own to get a head start on careers.

• Arizona Space Grant Program
  Expands opportunities for Americans to learn about and participate in NASA's aeronautics and space programs by supporting science, engineering education, research, and outreach programs.
• Collaborative Research in the Chemical Sciences
  A ten week summer program that provides research experiences for undergraduate students.
• College of Science Research Opportunities
  Undergraduates can probe the origins of the universe, study the effects of climatic and other changes on planet Earth, assess avian habitats, study chemical signals associated with obesity, elucidate factors contributing to cancer, or even build a satellite.
• Graduate College GRE Workshop
  A free program for eligible students that consists of practice tests, group instruction and office hours with an instructor.
• Honors College Research Experiences
  Provides students with the opportunity to work with faculty members on their research and scholarship.

• Hooked on Photonics
  A ten week summer program that provides research experiences for undergraduate students.
• McNair Achievement Program
  A graduate school preparatory program.
• Minority Access to Research Careers
  Provides mentoring, financial, and academic opportunity for underrepresented minority students who have interest and potential to pursue careers in biomedical research.
• Minority Health Disparities Research Opportunities
  Offers juniors and seniors paid research opportunities, seminars on minority health disparities and instruction on how to put together an excellent graduate school application.
• Summer Research Institute (SRI)
  Offers an opportunity to learn how to conduct research and prepare for graduate studies at the UA.
• Undergraduate Biology Research Program (UBRP)
  An educational program designed to teach students science by involving them in biologically related research.
