      This document is published by the Office of the Vice President for Research to assist faculty and staff with the administrative aspects of sponsored projects.

      The Office of Federal Relations is the UA's liaison between the UA and the federal government. This unit coordinates UA's participation in the appropriations process and UA's relationships with Members of Congress and the Executive Branch agencies.

        The University of Arizona Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) oversees the university's animal care and use programs, facilities and procedures ensuring the appropriate care, use and humane treatment of animals being used for research, testing and teaching.

      • Institutional Biosafety Committee

        Reviews all research involving recombinant DNA and microbial organisms pathogenic to plants, animals and humans.

      • Radiation Control Office

        Provides radiation compliance and safety services to UA/UMC regarding radioactive materials and machine-generated ionizing radiation.
