The University of Arizona College of Pharmacy, the only state supported college of pharmacy in Arizona, offers the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) as its only professional degree. The Pharm.D. program is four years in length after the completion of 67 units/credits of specific prepharmacy courses. The professional program is designed to provide the necessary didactic and clinical training for students to develop into competent health care professionals capable of providing both distributive and patient-oriented pharmaceutical services in hospitals, clinics, community pharmacies, pharmaceutical industry, research, academia and extended health care facilities.
