Mechanical Engineering

ABET accredited Mechanical engineering covers the fields of solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and engineering design. Mechanical engineers design tools, engines, machines, and other mechanical equipment. They also design and develop power using machines such as refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment, robots, machine tools, materials-handling systems, and industrial production equipment. The curriculum includes studies in machine dynamics, fluid flow, energy and power systems, and mechanical properties of materials and instrumentation.
