The program prepares students for operational and administrative responsibilities in hospitals and public health agencies. Majors develop management skills in human services policy. The program includes a nationally recognized specialization in administration of long-term care facilities for the aged.
High School Preparation:
- Entrance Requirements
- English, Algebra I and II, plane geometry required
- It is recommended that math be taken throughout all four years of high
school advancing through pre-calculus or calculus.
Major Requirements:
- Major requires math beyond general education requirements, but not
beyond basic calculus; includes Business Math 1, Business Math 2 and
statistics. Transfer students (other than those at Pima Community
College) should take one semester of brief calculus AND one semester of
finite mathematics.
