The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences has 20 units — from anthropology to the Southwest Center — that focus on the understanding of human beings and the societies and cultures they create. Understanding human behavior, by looking at our language, history, governments, environment and social norms, is one of the keys to societal change.
With popular majors like communication, political science and journalism, SBS teaches many UA students. The college has more than 5,400 students and grants more academic degrees than any other college at the UA.
