The Take Charge America Institute is dedicated to improving the money-management skills and financial confidence of consumers of all ages. The Institute creates research-based educational outreach programs that raise financial literacy and help consumers to make informed financial choices in todayÌs complex markets.

Helps prepare undergraduate students for careers as elementary and secondary teachers and offers master's and doctoral programs leading to positions in school leadership, research and development and teacher education.

Through its connections with top retailers and consulting firms, the Center offers students the chance to intern with companies that are changing the face of the retail industry.

Fosters an enduring spirit of inquiry and discovery by providing academic opportunities, such as Honors courses, research experiences, and intellectual dialogues, for artistically and academically talented students.

The Pharmacology and Toxicology graduate program provides training leading to the doctor of philosophy (PhD) or master of science (MS) degree in pharmacology and toxicology. The program trains students in state-of-the-art approaches in basic research in pharmacology, toxicology, environmental toxicology, chemical pharmacology, and proteomics and closely related sub-disciplines.
