Serves as the primary link between students, faculty and administrators while providing high quality programs for students. Provides assistance to people who have questions about code of conduct or academic integrity concerns and acts as first point of contact for emergency situations involving students.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at The University of Arizona College of Medicine is close to 40 faculty members strong. As part of University Medical Center (UMC)’s Level One trauma center, and the University Physicians Hospital at Kino Campus, the Emergency Department sees more than 70,000 patients annually at UMC, 30,000 at UPHK and is responsible for almost 50 percent of both hospital's admissions.
The Department of Disability and Psychoeducational Studies is committed to research about and teaching of students with disabilities and special abilities. The department’s research, teaching, and service address current issues in special education, rehabilitation, school psychology, and deaf studies.
Facilitates full access for disabled students, faculty, staff, and visitors through the provision of reasonable accommodations, adaptive athletic and fitness programs, assistive technology, innovative programming, education, and consultation.
Research-based outreach arm of the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (CALA) dedicated to sustainable design and planning - including affordable housing, heritage conservation, neighborhood, community & regional planning - with a focus on communities in need throughout Arizona and the Greater Southwest.
