Branch Campus:
- UA South
UA South is located about 75 miles southeast of Tucson in Sierra Vista. UA South offers upper division programs to allow students from Arizona community colleges to complete a degree.
Off Campus Locations:
- Arizona Materials Laboratory
The science and engineering of materials hold the key to advances in many areas of high technology - from integrated circuits and chip carriers to turbine engines and optical waveguides.
- Kitt Peak Observatory
Home of research facilities for two divisions of the National Optical Astronomy Observatories (NOAO): Kitt Peak National Observatory and the National Solar Observatory.
- Science and Technology Park
A research and development facility designed for fast-paced, high growth technology companies, from start-up to maturity. One of the nation's premier research and development facilities.
County Extension Offices:
Agricultural Centers:
- Boyce Thompson Arboretum
American Southwest's oldest arboretum and botanical garden. Located near Superior, Arizona.
- Campus Agricultural Center
Located about 3 miles north of the UA's main campus. Facilties include greenhouses, a 300-animal dairy research center, a meat sciences complex, an equine teaching/research facility, and more.
- Maricopa Agricultural Center
The center's main focus is on cotton, small grains, alfalfa, and new specialty crops that could be used to provide fibers, oils, and pharmaceuticals.
- Red Rock Agricultural Center
Located 35 miles north of the UA, the site allows for large-scale field research projects in plant breeding, weed control, plant pathology, insect management, fertility & nitrogen management, soil conservation, and alternative crops.
- Safford Agricultural Center
Provides research and service to farmers in a wide area that includes Graham, Greenlee and Cochise counties.
- Santa Rita Experimental Range
Provides research in range recovery from drought and overgrazing, as well as sustainable grazing practices. Located 40 miles south of Tucson.
- V Bar V Ranch
Addresses environmental, wildlife and domestic livestock issues applicable to Arizona and the Southwest.
- West Campus Agricultural Center
Facilities include a large animal necropsy building, the Arizona Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, and the Aquaculture Pathology Research Program.
- Yuma Agricultural Center
Research includes the biology and management of insects, the biology and management of crop diseases, weed ecology and control, seed and crop physiology, and soil, water and nutrient management.
