Form and Function at Starbucks
The next time you enjoy a Starbucks half-caf, doublewhip, skinny venti mocha, take a good look at the siren logo. There’s no ring encircling her. It doesn't say ‘coffee’ next to her. The redesign is the work of Mike Peck, class of ’99, and his design team. The logo took two years and six designers along with brand planners, architects and senior executives.
