The focus of the Health Promotion Sciences (HPS) division of The University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health (MEZCOPH) is on studying risk factors for disease or injury and using the knowledge gained to protect the health of the public. Our strength is our diversity of approaches including learning about biological, psychological, societal, cultural, and organizational factors that can improve the health of the public.

Offers flexible, interdisciplinary, and individualized master of arts and doctor of philosophy degree programs with concentrations in comparative higher education, finance, organization and administration, science and technology policy, and student affairs.

Offers major fields of study in Early Europe, Modern Europe, United States, Middle Eastern Histories, Asia, and Latin America. Offers minor fields of study in Comparative Women and Gender and Comparative/World History.

Offers programs to undergraduate and graduate students in the applied science of water use from many perspectives including social, economic, legal, environmental and scientific. Students prepare for careers in the field of hydrology with our internationally recognized faculty.
