To a nation, Franklin Delano Roosevelt was one of the most influential leaders in American history. To Nina Gibson of the Tucson area, he was Grandpa. The Roosevelt family legacy is the subject of a new Ken Burns documentary that will air on Sept. 14 on PBS 6 and run through Sept. 20.

Tucson and Pima County residents are invited to join a scavenger hunt for automated external defibrillators. The HeartMap Tucson Challenge, co-hosted by the UA and the Tucson Fire Department, aims to raise awareness about AEDs and build a comprehensive database of their locations.
